Observe the Business Goals
Find out what goals you’d like to achieve and figure out the best strategy to achieve them. Don’t stretch yourself thin, it’s better to dominate 2 goals then go for all 3.
Picking your Business
Open a business for each goal you want to achieve. Don’t be afraid to open multiples!
Wages before Prices
Before rushing to set your prices, take care of your employees and pay them a decent wage. Once you’ve done that, go set your prices and watch your products sold soar because of the excellent customer service! Don’t go crazy though, paying your employees too much can raise your overhead beyond your revenue.
Research and Development
Some businesses require R&D to rank up to the next level. After setting the wage and price, click on the R&D button on the summary page. You will see how much R&D is needed to rank up, so set your spending accordingly. Be careful though as you will be adding to your expenses by doing so, make sure you don’t go bankrupt by putting too much into R&D.
Marketing Budget
Some businesses allow you to have a marketing budget, this will be the fourth thing you want to set. Push Marketing Expenses to get as close as you can to Revenue Projection without going over AND include enough left over for Maintenance and Boosts.
Give your Employees a boost of morale
Lastly, do an employee boost for as many businesses as you can afford before. Do this before maintenance for the best results.
How to Play Cards
Focus on Positive HQ cards primarily as they will give you the best advantage. Secondly, focus on using Customer Base / Sales cards. Boost cards are more efficient than attack cards against bots so feel free to help yourself out before going on the attack.
Don’t let your business go into disrepair
Pay off Maintenance as soon as it occurs, always apply an employee boost afterwards. If you do not have enough money to repair your business, transfer money from other successful businesses. The longer you wait to fix your business the less money it will make you.
Don’t be afraid to experiment
During downtimes when all your business is running fine, check levers to see if you can nudge Wages and Prices for more Revenue / Sales. As the shared market settles you will want your marketing, prices, and wages.
